How many people do you think neglect to follow this relationship advice? and what do u think of it?

it's great advice but don't ppl do this anyway? what person puts their life on hold for someone they haven't even met yet? when i met my husband we were both in college, and we both still are. it's dependent upon whether or not he gets a job in another city, in which case i'll transfer colleges to be with him there. in his case, this is his dream job so he may postpone going to school since this is what he wants to do with his life and career anyway. in my case, it'll free me up to go to school financial worries-free, and plus i'd be able to save up money to do what i ALWAYS wanted to do since i was a little girl, which is go to aviation school to become a pilot. so none of that sounds like either of us are putting our lives on hold- maybe rearranging things, but at the end of the day we're still striving for the same outcome with different ways of getting there. It was my love for me and confidence in myself that drew my husband to me, and i'll have that regardless, whether he's here with me or not (God forbid!) in my life, my passion for reading and writing, passion for nature and so forth still become me....though my reading's been interrupted because all my books are still at home with my parents and i haven't had any money for buying books lately and the school library is a national archive that doesn't have the fiction that i prefer to read, so...we can only afford to take trips out to the book store to read every so often. grrrr lol
