How Long Are You Supposed to nWear Contacts for?

imn a 16 year ld male. My contacts are of the Acuve brand, and I take them out every night. I change them usually every month or so, which im supposed to do. I wear them from 7 am-9pm or even later. Am i wearing them for too long? If so, what can hapen if i continue to?
