Im having bad sciatic nerve pain during pregnancy. will this go away?

my doctor wanted to put me on ealry maternity leave but i dont want to leave so early when i can spend it with my baby. will this pain go away after i have the baby? any tips to relieve it? i have a 2 year ld and my life cant stop!
